About the Program
The International Year One in Business is designed for international students who want to progress directly to the second year of a relevant undergraduate degree at Liverpool John Moores University after successfully completing the pathway. The programme combines business and finance subjects with Academic English Skills and provides additional academic support to help students adapt to UK university study.

- Good high school graduation grades or equivalent plus one year of further study
- For Bangladesh:
- HSC Year 12 with GPA 3.25 overall
- GPA 3.25 in English
- GPA 3.25 in relevant subjects
- For Business, if Mathematics is not studied at HSC:
- SSC Mathematics GPA 3.5 accepted
English Language Requirements
- IELTS for UKVI with Minimum Score 5.5 overall
- Minimum 5.5 in each component
Additional Requirements
- Successful completion of the International Year One is required for progression
- Required academic and English grades must be achieved
- 100% attendance is expected
- Students progress to the second year of their chosen undergraduate degree subject to meeting the required progression conditions
